Our international students have the opportunity to combine sports with several different kinds of academic programs. When they are in secondary school (high school) they can choose between the well-known International Baccalaureate and Cambridge programs or they have the possibility to follow the Dutch curriculum. This is not only available for Dutch students but also for international students if Dutch is or is going to be their second language.
The FSG Academy provide the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme in collaboration with Rivers International School Arnhem.
The IB Diploma Programme (DP) is a challenging and demanding two-year curriculum, primarily aimed at students aged 16 to 19. It leads to a qualification that is widely recognized by the world’s leading universities.
Secondary (11 - 19 years)
Secondary school ultimately leads to a qualification for the entrance to a university. During the first three years, students follow our combined program.
The next two years students prepare for the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE).
IGCSE is an internationally recognized qualification for further academic success, including the IB. The IGCSE is an acknowledged equivalent of the American 10th grade, the British GCSE.
The Cambridge Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE) Diploma is an international curriculum and examination system that emphasizes the value of broad and balanced study. The AICE takes another two years.
For students who are finished with their secondary education we have developed specially designed Pre University programs.
Sports & Boarding
These academic studies can be combined with our top sports programs and boarding. We have more than 13 sport programs available. It is also possible to live on campus. Read more about our sports and boarding.
